Oriental Cologne
THE ORIENTAL FRAGRANCE CONCEPT - MASCULINE It is only recently that the term "Oriental" has been used in conjunction with masculine fragrances. In the past, virtually no fragrant splashes for men were on the market that were based on this concept. Spicy was what was on everyone's lips, while very sweetly accentuated spice notes did not meet with widespread acceptance. However the situation has since changed. Today, masculine fragrances are allowed to be sweet, strong, full of impact and to have a "signal effect", which is why masculine "Orientals" are right in step with today's trends. Oriental-spicy: In addition to the classical fragrances which we know from the past, this segment also includes several modern expansions on the theme that offers unobtrusive Oriental nuances. Oriental-ambery: The "Oriental" concept includes both the Oriental-type progressive masculine fragrances as well as masculine variations of feminine Oriental perfumes with similar sounding names. The dominating players here are pronounced ambery compositions with honey-like nuances, a strong vanilla foundation and many another accord which, only a few years ago, would have been criticized in most Western countries as being too sweet, too feminine and too obtrusive for men.
