In 1997 Gianni Versace lived like prince. Gianni has got a lot of money, good opinion from critics, he was pupil of elites. Versace spent a lot of his fortune for arts, antiques, luxory hauses. But his wonderful life collapsed in 1997 - he was killed by gay which later comitted suicide. Gianni Versace was born in Calabria in 1946. His mother had a boutique and sewed dresses for rich women and she inspired him. When he made his first own business in Milano he also took his family. His brother Santo became manager and sister Donatella became co-operator. After Gianni's death she became main designer.At the begining, Versace’ s trade-mark was splendour, wealth and evident sexuality.Versace loved dramatic sculptured shapes, fetish materials, interesting colours and decorations. His inspirations was classical projects of Poiret and Vionnet, street wear, punk , army uniforms, ethnic wears. In 80's Versace was responsibled for power- dressing (wide and angular shape of arms). Versace’s fashions focused people attention. To group of his clients appertained: Madonna, Demi Moore, Joan Collins, Liz Taylor, Sylvester Stallone, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Princess Diana. He made also costumes for theatre, opera, ballet. Gianni co-operated with famous choreographer- Maurice Bejart, what caused that Versace became human of renaissance.In 1981 he promoted his first fragrance- „GIANNI VERSACE”- very sensuous for strong nad sexy women like Tina Turner. Later, in 1984 Versace showed similar aroma for men- „VERSACE l’HOMME”. This fragrance was addressed for modern and independent man. In 1988 became new section of company- Gianni Versace Profumi (Gi- Ver)- responsible for all perfum’s thing. Gianni’s main idea was do fragrances which can refile fashion’s collection. „VERSUS DONNA” (1992) and „VERSUS UOMO” (1993) as Versus line was for young people. „Jeans” series appeared in 1994 in case- bottle in drink’s bottle shapes.
