Ralph Lifschitz, youngest so of Russian immigrants, was born in 1939 in Bronx (New York). Young Ralph dreamt about unrealizable. Like a most children he wanted be a millionare and he did it. At begining of his career he worked for Brooks Brothers which as first created wears for American�s youth which studied in expensive private schools. In 1967 Lauren created own fashion comapny and called it �POLO�, because this name was full of style and joined with money. His first success was edition of wide ties and he wanted unwind his business. He borrowed 50 000$ for his new collection �GATSBY� (collection of male suits) and his inspiration was styl of frequenters of clubs, cafes, theatres at 20�s- 30�s. Four years later he could repay his debt and he earned 15 times that much. When he switched over on female fashions he used timeless elegance again. His first triumph was � Annie Hall�s look� (wore by Diane Keaton), which orginated by proportional abatement of male�s suits, pants, shirts, waistcoats and he added soft hats- it created comfortable, unformal and daily look. Elaboration of classical style was for Ralph more important than adapt to binding fashions. He had this same way about fragrances. His first perfume showed nostalgia for traditional cottage�s hause. This fragrances he had called �LAUREN� and they are very feminine. �Polo� is typical male fragrance with skipper note in hip- flask case bottle. Other his fragrances are : �CHAPS� (1979), �TUXEDO� (1979), �SAFARI� (1990). �POLO SPORT� (1994) and �POLO SPORT WOMAN� showed his inspirationes of sport and sport�s wears. Both aroma are pure and bracing. In 1999 Lauren created �ROMANCE�- which showed his career and way of life. He is very smart businessman which has intuition. He is married almost 35 years with the same woman and he has got three children, five empires of fashion, and income - 1 billion $ per year. He still looks his visions.
