NINA RICCI PERFUME HISTORY

In 1883, Nina Ricci was born in Turin, Italy and by the young age of 14, she had found her way to Paris where she worked as an apprentice dressmaker. By the time she was 18; Nina Ricci had started designing her own line of apparel and sold them to other established fashion houses. While the name Nina Ricci had become more and more recognizable in the fashion world, it wasn’t until 1932 when she was 49 years old that she founded her own company.

In 1950, Nina Ricci retired and handed the reigns of her company over to her son, Robert. Robert continued to expand the company by creating a line of Nina Ricci perfumes, fashion accessories, skin care products, lingerie and licensing the name Nina Ricci to other manufacturers. In 1998, the Nina Ricci fashion house was purchased by the Puig Beauty & Fashion Group of Barcelona, Spain.

Beauty Tips

To help fragrances last longer-use a neutral or coordinating moisturizer. Moist skin keeps your fragrance from evaporating as fast. And bonus, your skin is soft!
